Match Fixtures

The Mere Angling Club hold numerous competitions in conjunction with Warminster & District Angling Club throughout the year. We have competitions for all ages and Angling types. We welcome all members to participate no matter your level of skill providing you meet the criteria to enter the competition.

Senior Cup

To enter you must be aged 60+ and drawing a pension. This cup is a seasonal cup fishing for silver fish only starting in June until October.There will be five matches held at Crockerton Lake once a month on a Tuesday. Each match will start at 9.00am for the draw and fishing from 10am to 4pm. The cup will be scored on a total points basis over the 5 matches and trophies will be awarded to the person with the highest total weight.
