WhitePost Lakes
The two lakes at Whitepost hold a big head of carp from 1-5 lbs with a few larger fish to 12 lbs. The lakes provide exciting action for anglers looking to get instant bend in their rod. Small tench and crucians also add to the enjoyment of fishing in a totally relaxing and picturesque environment.
Members can fish these two lakes by producing your membership card when asked by the site bailiff.
Rules:
- Strictly no litter to be left
- No keepnets
- Barbless hooks only
- Strictly no driving on the grass
- Fish from designated pegs
- All fish to be returned where caught An EA rod licence is required
- All u12’s must be accompanied by an adult
Directions to Whitepost
From Gillingham, follow signs for East Stour and Sturminster Newton (B3092). Go over the railway bridge and turn right into New Road. Follow the road to East Stour, go straight over the cross roads, once you have passed through Stour Provost you go down a slight hill with a large house on the right hand side, turn right here and the lakes are 100 yards down the road on your left.
